Maio / May

Maio é o nosso mês: começamos a namorar no início e casamos no final.

Maio é o mês dos casamentos na minha família: até agora, na minha geração, ainda só houve o do meu irmão e o meu, e vai haver o da minha prima no sábado, todos em maio.

Maio é o mês em que nasceu a minha única irmã.

Este ano, maio é o mês em que a minha vida vai ser virada completamente do avesso, em que vou abandonar praticamente tudo aquilo que conheço, sair do meu conforto, dos braços das minhas pessoas, da estabilidade e mandar-me para Londres, onde ele me espera há alguns meses.

Ando a balançar entre o entusiasmo e o pânico. Mas é maio. Maio resolve tudo.

May is our month: we started dating in the beginning of it and we got married in the end of it.

May is the month of all the weddings in my family: so far, in my generation, there have only my brother's and mine weddings, and there will be my cousin's this saturday, all of them in May.

May is the month my only sister was born.

This year, May is the month that will turn my life upside down, when I will leave almost everything I know, leave my comfort zone, the arms of my person and a stable life and dive into London, where we has been waiting for me for a couple of months.

I'm swinging between enthusiasm and panic. But we're in May. May makes it all ok.
