Dia auto-cenas / Self-day

Matosinhos
I had been thinking, for quite a long time, of driving to near the sea or the river: Foz, Matosinhos, Leça, it didn't matter. Night or day, it didn't matter either, as long as I could listen to some music.
Yesterday's sunny day decided things for me: after organizing my clothes and shoes allover the place, I put on my sunglasses, turned on the car radio and drove to Matosinhos, where I sitted on a bench in front of the building I will, eventually, one day, live in, reading comics and feeling my legs, my head and my face being slightly burnt by the sun.
After reading the book, I buried my shoes in the sand, facing the sea, gathering in me so many things that make me smile.
I saw the sunset accompanied by a Coke zero and a great conversation, thus ending my self-day, which went on as a girls night, so cold it made my mouth tremble, and refreshed by two Somersby.
The night ended in the form of a great missed hug, full of comfortable memories.

It's days like this one, where I look around me and feel or see the presence of almost everyone that I love, that make me realize that, no matter how chaotic life can be sometimes, the other times make it all worth it.
