In other words...

Inspira... expira / Breath in, breath out

Two very important days are almost here. They were far away, they were thought about, I crossed the calendar every single day and although there were still many weeks ahead of us, the passage of time was already a bit painfull. Now, all of a sudden, I can hear them knocking on my door, asking for me to open it and let them in.
The first one is the end of a season, the culmination of a very ambicious project in which I never stopped believing. I supported him, but the work was all his, day by day, involuntarily interrupted from time to time. Long years where many other things were postponed are now ending and, unfortunately, I won't be there to testify it.
I'm proud, like I always am. I am very proud of him, of every single idiosyncrasy in his life, specially because I know I wouldn't have the courage, the intelligence, the persistence, the commitment and the pacience needed for this project. But I also know he has it and much more, that's why I blindely beleve in him.

The second one will mark, in every possible way, the beginning of a brand new phase, of an experience I never wanted to live but I'll have to and of an experience I've always wanted to go through and that, finnaly, is right here. I/we will need all the strength in the world, time will pass slowly as never before. It will hurt a little bit, but, in the end, it will be worth it.
I'm feeling a bitter-sweet anxiety that in one moment makes me giggle and, in the other, makes me want to  pout and tear.
